Ploughing

A couple weeks ago my mum and little brother went to a local ploughing competition. There is some really neat pictures that mum took showing good detailing of the gear the horses use. I thought it would make a great performance setup, I myself would not be able to, but perhaps there is someone out there that could benefit from these.

Unfortunately I didn't manage to go with other commitments I had to do, but the photo's are pretty neat, and some lovely horses too.

LOVE this horses' eye, doesn't it look so nice and kind!

It appears some have the thing over their back and some don't, I don't know what the ruling is with this if any, but I would prefer it as it holds the chains up a bit not quite so close to the horses' legs and hooves. Just my thoughts though.

Inhand Outfits

I was asked a couple days ago for reference pics of some of the outfits
we wear round here, so, in a quick as post, here is some of them, more
to come either tomorrow, or next week when I get back from the Minature

Saddlefree Performance

First off, Jen Buxton comes up with THE best things to post about!!! One of the latest being Saddlefree Performance, but the one I was really fascinated by was her post about an event called Bareback Puissance. That event seems really 'me'. I don't think I would ever be able to jump that sort of height though!

Through searching 'Bareback Puissance' and
'Bareback Puissance jumping' on Google Images, it seems there aren't
many *decent* pictures of the event, thus the similarity in images to
Jen's post.
This seems the perfect event for me if I was live showing!! Since I
only own a western saddle, I would have to make my english saddle if I
were showing performance, but an english bridle is easy enough to make,
or, if you can't make one, they are relatively cheap.
This would be such an awesome thing to have setup at live shows!!! I
would love to see some in pictures from lives!
